Your first visit to our Arlington studio
Never had a professional massage before? You're in good company — many of our regulars started exactly where you are. Here's the whole visit, step by step, so nothing is a surprise except how good you feel after.
Step by Step
Your visit, from the front door to the drive home
Arrive about 10 minutes early
Give yourself a little runway. Ten minutes is enough to settle in, use the restroom, look over the add-ons, and start unwinding before your session even begins — no rushing through the door and straight onto a table.
Fill out your pressure-preference form
This is our signature, and the part first-timers thank us for most. Before your session starts, a short form asks exactly how firm you like your pressure — from feather-light to deep and focused — and whether there are areas to focus on or skip. Your therapist reads it before ever touching your shoulders, so there's no guessing and no awkward mid-massage negotiation.
Get comfortable in your room
Your therapist shows you to a warm, quiet room and steps out while you get settled. You undress only to your comfort level — many guests keep underwear on, and that's completely fine. On the table you're professionally draped with a sheet at all times; only the area being worked on is ever uncovered.
During the session, speak up anytime
More pressure, less pressure, a warmer room, an area to skip, quiet or conversation — say the word and your therapist adjusts immediately. There is no polite suffering here. It's your hour, and the session only works when it feels right to you.
Afterward, take your time
Sessions end gently, never abruptly. Lie still for a moment, get up slowly, and don't hurry out of the room — it's yours until you're ready. Drink some water afterward and keep the rest of your evening easy if you can. Many guests find the relaxed feeling lingers well past the drive home.
The Small Comforts
The details that make the hour
A good massage is more than the massage. Every session here includes aromatherapy with essential oils and hot towels — small touches that tell your body it's safe to let go.
- Aromatherapy with essential oils, included with every session
- Hot towels to warm and finish the work
- A warm foot soak to start every foot service
- A shower available if you'd like to freshen up before or after

Good to Know
First-visit questions
Whatever is comfortable — there's no dress code. For a full body massage you undress in private, only as far as you're comfortable, and you stay professionally draped the whole time. For foot reflexology you simply roll up your pant legs.
That's entirely up to you. Some guests like to chat, most drift into quiet within a few minutes — your therapist will follow your lead either way. The only thing we ask you to speak up about is pressure or comfort, any time.
Tips are never required and always appreciated. There's no expected amount — whatever feels right to you is right.
Perfect — that's the job done. Falling asleep on the table is one of the nicest compliments a therapist can get. We'll wake you gently when your session ends, and you can take your time getting up.
