Deep tissue massage in Arlington, TX
Firm, slow, focused work on the tension that's been there for months — at a depth you choose, never one you have to endure.
The Experience
Our full body massage, taken deeper
No mystery here: deep tissue at Yoshino is our full body massage with the deep-tissue upgrade — the same head-to-toe session, worked firmer and slower, with extra time spent where your tension actually lives. The pricing below already includes the upgrade, so what you see is what you pay.
Slower matters as much as firmer. Instead of gliding over a tight shoulder, your therapist settles into it — sustained, deliberate pressure that gives stubborn knots time to let go. Many guests find it's exactly what months of desk work or hard training have been asking for.
Who books deep tissue
Desk shoulders
Long keyboard days leave neck and shoulders carrying too much. Focused work here is our most-requested session.
Athletes in training
Runners, lifters, and weekend warriors book firmer work on legs, hips, and back to help ease post-training tightness.
Chronic knots
That one spot that's been tight for months responds best to slow, patient, repeated attention — not a quick pass.
Firm — never grit-your-teeth
Deeper doesn't mean painful. You set your starting pressure on our preference form before the session begins, and you can ask for more or less at any moment — your therapist adjusts immediately, no awkwardness, no negotiation. The best deep work keeps you breathing easy the whole way through.
Afterward, mild next-day soreness can be normal — think "good workout," not "injury." Drink some water, take the evening slow, and let the work settle. First time on our table? Read what to expect at your first visit.

Good to Know
Deep tissue questions
Honest answer: you will feel it, but it should never make you grit your teeth. Good deep work sits at "firm and productive" — the kind of pressure that makes you exhale, not tense up. You set your starting depth on the pressure-preference form before we begin, and you can ask for more or less at any point in the session. Your therapist will adjust immediately.
Mild next-day soreness can be normal after firmer work — many guests compare it to the feeling after a good workout. It typically fades within a day or so. Drinking water and taking it easy that evening helps. If anything ever feels sharp or wrong during the session itself, say so right away — that's not something to push through.
They're the same head-to-toe session at heart. Choose our full body massage (our take on the classic Swedish-style relaxation session) when you mostly want to relax and unwind. Choose deep tissue when specific spots — desk shoulders, a stubborn knot, post-training tightness — need slower, firmer, more focused attention. If you're unsure, book either one; the pressure form lets us meet you wherever you land.
Yes. Note it on your pressure form or just tell your therapist at the start — plenty of guests ask for the full session on their back, shoulders, and neck, and we're glad to spend the time where you need it most.
